Happy Ramadan

Happy Ramadan!!

Here comes Ramadan with its holy atmosphere, calm nature and desirable religious environment. All people wait for this month from year to year hoping that Allah would forgive them for all their deeds, sin and mistakes. I guess that Ramadan should be only the begining of having this atomsphree all the time as we can sustain to fear Allah and do good deeds during entire year , not only in Ramadan.

One of the funniest things is that we have acquired almost all of Ramadan tradition like (Fanos, Konafa, Kataeef ...etc) from Fatimeen Age when they ruled Egypt. Purpose of Ramadan fasting is that all people should have same feeling poor people having to motivate rich people to help poor ones. But, what happens in Egypt is like a sarcam, Egypt spends more than $ 35 Billion during Ramadan only on F&B ( Food & Beverage).... IMAGINE

Oh, allah, please forgive me and the whole entire moslem world for our mistakes. Amen!!

The weird thing is that the people who spend money are not only the rich but the poor who can't afford life all year but they double spend bardo in Ramadan!
It is culture and as yiu said men zaman, and culture is sometimes stronger than beliefs.

First I do agree en ramadan leh gaw mo3ayan, all of us feel it and love it.
El a3iad 3amatan fakadet ma3naha, in christmas and new years celebrations masalan, though we should think of spiritual things like (sana 3adet we sana gaya, what mistakes we did in the past) christians in europe and some in egypt drink alchol in it.
Even Santa Clause who is as a matter of fact a famous Saint (he was a rich old man, we belraghm eno ragel 3agoz kan be2adi layali el a3ida weldenia bard be7ot shonat hodom we akl infront of poor doors men gher ma7ad ye3raf hoa meen) 7ata da et7awel le commercial symbol.
Yalla ... bas still some of muslems and christians still perserve the spirtual meanings of feasts.
Mesh hatsada2, embare7 kont hatnarfez 3ala 7ad fa la2etni ba2ol fe seri (7aram e7na fi Ramadan) :-))))))))
